What happens when a message is sent outside the 24-hour service window?
Why it matters. Meta's Cloud API only guarantees delivery of a free-form reply within 24 hours of the customer's last message. Send a free-form reply after that window closes and the API still returns success — the request is accepted and then silently dropped. This is true of the platform itself, not any one vendor's implementation of it, so every WhatsApp tool has to decide what to do about it: check before sending, or trust the API's success response and pass the false 'sent' status straight to you.
How Automix answers it. Wavy computes the window from real message timestamps and checks it before a provider is ever called. A free-form reply outside the window is refused with a 409 that names the approved template you can send instead, rather than reporting a delivery that did not happen. This only applies to a connected cloud number — a QR-paired handset has no Meta window to enforce, because it is a phone.
